Donating blood is an act of giving it is a noble act and sacred process of gifting lives to the needy people blood is not replaced with any other liquid, which is essential for human life. ‘SMEC’ takes the initiation all the time to show the right path to its students. Lead them with humanitarian services and so transforming them into responsible citizens with kind hears. It has already been proved through “the positive motivation for spreading the generosity and love” by the principal Dr. P.Santosh Kumar Patra and constant support and encouragement by the management of St. Martin’s Engineering College.
It is happy to note that around 600+ units of blood are collected during the camp The blooddonation camp was organized on 31.05.2022 in association with Red Cross Society, India under the dynamicsupervision and enthusiastic motivation by Sri Ajay Mishra, IRCS Telangana State Chairman and IAS officer (Retd.), Sri K Madan Mohan Rao, General Secretary & CEO IRCS, Medchal Dist., Sri RajeshwarRao Chairman IRCS Medchal Dist., Dr Ramesh M, JRCYRC State Convenor, Dr K Pitchi Reddy , Director, Red Cross Blood Bank and Mr. Prashanth , PRO, IRCS. The Chairman Sri MarriLaxman Reddy garu, Executive Director Sri G.ChandraSekharYadavgaru, Principal Dr.P.Santosh Kumar Patra and Dr.D.V.Srikanth, HOD (Mechanical) visited the camp and congratulated all the blood donors.
